American Legion Post 23

From George Washington Bridge: Take I95 south to exit 11 and take Garden State Parkway southbound). Stay right after the toll and take the “local” Lanes. Then follow Garden State Parkway – Southbound directions below.

Garden State Parkway - Southbound Take GSP South (local lanes) to Exit 117A (Aberdeen). Make left at stop sign at top of ramp onto Lloyd Road. Follow to first light (0.2 miles) and make left onto Gerard Ave (ball field on right). At stop sign (0.3 miles) make a right onto Lower Main St. Make left at first light just passed St. Joseph School & Church (0.3 miles). Bear left over hill to first light and make a left onto Broadway (0.2miles). Go to next light (0.3miles) and make right onto W. Front St. Continue on W. Front St. Continue over bridge (Ye Cottage Inn is on the left). As you pass American Legion Drive you will see the Keyport Post Office on the left. The American Legion is the next building. Garden State Parkway - Northbound Take GSP North to Exit 117. Follow sings to Route 35 south. Stay in right lane. Just past the first light (0.6 miles - Exxon station on opposite corner) is a jug handle. Follow signs to Keyport. After crossing Route 35, stay left on Monmouth County 4 North (cemetery on right). Stay to your left until the first light (Route 36) Stay in right lane, cross over Route 36 and continue on Monmouth County 4 North/Broad Street (Keyport HS just after the light). Continue to 2nd light (2.2 mi) and make a left on E. Front St. American Legion is just on right after shops & houses on right.

Parking There is limited parking on the street and it is limited to 2 hours during the day. We recommend that you use the Municipal Parking lot next to the Ye Cottage Inn. There is also parking behind the Post off of America Legion drive.
